Every meaningless abstraction announces and reflects the “vacant” representation of an expanded field; In the words of Clement Greenberg, an expanded field is always a predatory action of an artistic practice that is not comfortable with the historical limits granted to its own discipline, like a crisis of affiliation or identity. Painting then becomes ordering a repertoire of actions that are built in an eloquence of materials and materials, like a necessarily systematic fluid in which something remains to be done:
rescue the intention of what has not been done
move forward due to defects
accumulate trips
contained movements
waste – transformations
