Far from the banal and ephemeral use of images, these works arise from scraps and encounters of other images, between error and chance, between failure and randomness, to build visual and expressive structures from them. The pictorial brings together in these works concealments and superpositions, covering up or clarifying – between the anxiety of making and the estrangement of forms – colors and volumes of spatial affirmation.
As in a theory of fragments, each of them is made at a time; a circumstantial time that constitutes them and gives unity to the sequence of the works.
